The town of Otranto is located in the Apulia region (Southern Italy) facing on the Adriatic sea just in front of the Albanian and Greek coasts. Due to the large increasing of mooring demand for yachting and ferries, the actual marinas infrastructures have became no longer adequate and a proper improvement has become stringent.

The Client appointed a team of designers to carry out the overall design of the port structures, infrastructures and utilities. As part of a team of designer Cotecchia was appointed as geological and geotechnical expert.
